Tunisian Startup, SeekMake, raises USD 539K for Global Expansion

Tunisian startup, SeekMake, has secured an EUR 500,000 (USD 539,000) investment from Lafayette Group, a prominent European private equity firm with stakes in major manufacturing companies across the continent. This funding was obtained through a three-part deal after a year of negotiations.

The primary purpose of the investment is to bolster SeekMake’s expansion plans on a global scale. SeekMake already has a diverse client base in Tunisia, the United States, and Australia. With this capital, the company is setting its sights on new markets, especially France and Germany, which offer valuable opportunities for collaboration with influential clients and partners. Furthermore, as part of its growth strategy, SeekMake has established a branch in Estonia.

SeekMake’s digital manufacturing platform bridges the gap between industrial manufacturers and end-users, leading to cost savings and accelerated part production. The platform has a reputation for swiftly and safely actualising ideas, projects and prototypes. One of its notable achievements was partnering with TELNET and Polymath Company in 2021 to contribute to the prototyping stages of Tunisia’s first satellite, Challenge ONE.

SeekMake offers various manufacturing options, ranging from CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication to 3D printing, laser cutting, and engraving. The startup has achieved several milestones, including amassing a user and manufacturer base of over 10,000, forming partnerships with 72 manufacturers, and venturing into 40 countries.

SeekMake’s dedication to collaboration is evident through its partnerships with various Tunisian startups. The company is currently proactively partnering with startups from Tunisia and abroad, assisting in crafting their prototypes.
